1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Whispr, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Whispr. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Whispr to:
- Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate any person
- Send hate speech, discriminatory, or violent content
- Share explicit, sexual, or adult content
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Share another person's private information without consent
- Spam or send repetitive unsolicited messages
- Attempt to circumvent the anonymity system to identify askers
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
Violations may result in immediate account termination.
4. Anonymity & Privacy
Whispr is designed so that askers remain anonymous to answerers. You agree not to attempt to de-anonymize, identify, or expose the identity of any person using the service.
While we enforce anonymity technically, we cannot guarantee that a determined person could never infer an identity through other means outside the app.
5. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of any content you submit (questions and answers). By submitting content, you grant Whispr a limited license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the service.
We do not sell, share, or use your content for any other purpose.
6. Reporting & Moderation
We provide in-app tools to report abusive questions. We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion.
Because questions are anonymous, we may not always be able to identify or take action against the sender of reported content.
7. Disclaimers
Whispr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms without prior notice.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
